The Enrollment and Program Manager plays a critical role in operations and in shaping the long-term growth and success of the Division of Continuing Education & Professional Studies (CEPS) at Seton Hall University. This position is responsible for leading and optimizing enrollment processes, managing innovative noncredit programs, and driving strategic initiatives in professional development, microcredentials, and corporate training. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, data analysis, and communication skills, with a passion for education and industry engagement.
This role will ensure seamless student experiences from inquiry through registration and course completion while also overseeing the development and execution of in demand Pre-College and professional programs in leadership, healthcare, technology, analytics, cybersecurity and related areas. The Manager/Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand CEPS offerings, enhance market presence, and align programs with industry needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Enrollment Management:
• Develop and implement enrollment strategies to attract and retain participants.
• Manage course scheduling and enrollment processes in Modern Campus Lifelong Learning.
• Provide customer service and support to ensure a seamless and positive experience for students, including managing lead generation process and converting inquiries to enrolled students.
• Analyze enrollment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and student workers to develop targeted campaigns.
• Monitor and report on enrollment metrics and progress toward goals.
• Stay updated on best practices and industry trends in enrollment management.
Program and Curriculum Development:
• Oversee the design and implementation of professional development programs in areas such as digital marketing, analytics, cybersecurity, and leadership.
• Ensure program content aligns with emerging industry trends and market needs through research and industry consultation.
• Work with academic teams and industry partners to integrate innovative teaching methodologies into program design.
Market Strategy and Growth:
• Develop and execute strategies to reposition CEPS offerings in executive education and microcredentialing.
• Identify and cultivate market opportunities to expand CEPS’s audience base, particularly in technology, leadership, and healthcare sectors.
• Lead marketing efforts to promote CEPS programs, leveraging content creation and data-driven insights.
Industry and Community Engagement:
• Establish and nurture partnerships with industry professionals, organizations, and experts to enhance program credibility.
• Develop customized corporate training programs and secure grants and sponsorships to support innovation, access, and equity initiatives.
• Represent CEPS at industry events and conferences to strengthen connections and promote offerings.
Assessment and Continuous Improvement:
• Implement assessment tools to evaluate program effectiveness and student success.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and refine strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, business, technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in enrollment management, program development, or project management in higher education or corporate training.
• Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams and manage strategic initiatives.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with students, faculty, and industry partners.
• Technology Proficiency: Experience with enrollment management software (Modern Campus Lifelong Learning/Destiny One preferred) and educational technology tools.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with professional education markets, workforce development, and industry training needs.
• Team Player: Willingness to support a small but growing team in building the department.
