The Office of General Counsel (OGC) at Seton Hall University is conducting a search for an Assistant General Counsel. We seek a lawyer with the abilities, experience and interests to provide advice on a wide range of legal issues in the increasingly complex environment of higher education. This is a full-time, 12-month, administrative position. OCG is Seton Hall’s Law Office. The lawyers provide legal advice, counseling, and service to Seton Hall. Our responsibility is to provide our best, independent advice in the interest of Seton Hall. OGC lawyers are both specialists and generalists. OGC lawyers work independently but also collaboratively in a collegial atmosphere of a fast-paced law office within the University community, as well as with outside law firms. They must manage of wide variety of complicated issues, exercise independent judgement, and function effectively with internal and external constituencies. This position will report to the General Counsel.
