The role

As Quality Manager and Head of Quality for Imagination Technologies, you’ll set the direction and lead the execution of our company-wide quality strategy. You will be accountable for ensuring that our engineering and business processes deliver the highest levels of quality, reliability, and compliance across all product lines — from hardware to software solutions.

You’ll lead the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and alignment with customer and regulatory expectations. Working within the Engineering Assurance Group, you will collaborate with Functional Safety, Cyber Security, and System Test teams to promote a unified approach to engineering assurance. This is a strategic leadership role, providing guidance and governance across the company while engaging with senior management, customers, and certification bodies.

You will:

• Own and continuously improve the corporate Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 and business objectives.
• Define and implement Imagination’s quality strategy, policies, and governance framework across all divisions.
• Lead quality audits (internal, supplier, and certification) and ensure effective closure of findings.
• Define, measure, and report quality performance metrics to executive leadership.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to embed quality-by-design principles throughout the lifecycle — from concept to delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, customer quality engagements, and certification authorities.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, process excellence, and proactive risk management across the organization.
• Mentor and support quality engineers and champions embedded in development teams.

You'll have:

• Proven experience leading Quality Management in a technology, semiconductor, or engineering organization.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and associated quality standards, with hands-on audit and certification experience.
• Demonstrated ability to define and deploy quality strategies across multiple engineering domains.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
• Experience driving metrics-based continuous improvement and risk reduction.

You might also have:

• Experience in functional safety (ISO 26262), information security (ISO 27001), or automotive quality (IATF 16949).
• Background in semiconductor IP, SoC development, or complex hardware/software systems.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tool set (Confluence, Jira)
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience representing an organization during external or customer audits at corporate level.
