The role

We are a dynamic team of engineers who are passionate about technology and innovation. By analysing applications, HW and SW stacks, we identify Power, Performance and Area (PPA) enhancements to deliver competitive products to our customers. 

As a Director of Performance Analysis, you’ll be responsible for identification of software and hardware performance enhancements in Data Centre, Automotive and Mobile market segments. You will work closely with Product, Software, Hardware, Validation and Application Engineering teams to ensure the work is delivered on time according to company priorities.

You will:

  • Lead a team of performance analysts focused on optimising 3D, compute and ML workloads 

  • Work with Architecture Team on identification of key HW enhancements for next products 

  • Prepare performance estimates for new IPs and workloads 

  • Collaborate with Software Teams to identify and implement performance enhancements 

  • Be responsible for definition and maintenance of priority workloads 

  • Characterize workloads to understand their behaviour 

  • Guide development and data mining of HW-agnostic analysis 

  • Be responsible for microbenchmark development and analysis 

  • Enhance performance analysis methodology, tools and propose HW changes to support them 

  • Support Application Engineers in solving complex performance related issues 

  • Review and report performance results to internal and external customers 

  • Together with Product Architects prepare product positioning against competition 

  • Enhance cross-team processes to improve work efficiency

You'll have:

  • Deep experience in performance analysis or GPU modelling 

  • Deep understanding of GPU architecture and software stack 

  • Excellent communication and team building skills 

  • Proven track of record in solving both technical and organisational problems 

  • Written and verbal communication in English
