About the role

Estia Health Brunswick West is a warm and welcoming aged care home located just 6km from Melbourne’s CBD, in a leafy, residential pocket close to cafés, parks, public transport, and local shops. With a strong community feel and a supportive team environment, the home offers a great opportunity to work close to home while making a real difference in the lives of our residents. Whether you're after school-hour flexibility or evening shifts, you'll enjoy being part of a purpose-driven team in a convenient and vibrant inner-city location.

Shift times are:

• 7.30am to 2.30pm / 4pm to 8pm 

You’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do.

Here’s what a typical day involves:

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
