About the role

This is a Permanent Part Time position, where you will work a fortnightly roster:

  • Week 1: 10.30am to 6.30pm Wednesday & Thursday
  • Week 2: 10.30am to 6.30pm Wednesday & Thursday and 3pm to 7.30pm Friday

Here’s what a typical day involves:

  • Prepping food and drink.
  • Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
  • Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
  • Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
  • Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

  • Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
  • Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
  • Great time management and planning skills
