What does the job look like?

As a Technology Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic interface between the business and IT, translating business needs into technology solutions from the inception through to the delivery.  Working closely with IT & business senior leaders and teams to plan and support delivery of outcomes aligned to the organisational strategy.

Key areas include:

• Provides clear and concise communication at all levels, delivering both positive messages and managing challenging conversations through written and verbal communication
• Transforms business ideas into well-defined deliverables by creating and collaborating in the appropriate forums and teams
• Develops an understanding of the business context and uses this to foresee change impacts for stakeholders
• Understands role boundaries and ensures the appropriate teams (Planning, Process, Service Transition) are informed and engaged for effective delivery and support
• Adopts a continuous improvement approach
• Assists in maintaining security standards across the team and wider Technology department, while ensuring security is effectively embedded in Business and Technology Outcomes

Are you the one?

You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You are an active listener who communicates with clarity and impact, fostering productive relationships across the business. You can demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Commerce, Information Systems or related discipline
• Experience working across IT & Business projects supporting planning and execution activities for business change, transformation and strategy
• Good understanding of project management frameworks; Waterfall and Agile methodologies and project governance in an IT environment
• Must have moderate to advanced MS Office suite skills, Experience with Atlassian tools Jira/Confluence or similar. Could have: Miro/Mural or similar experience
• Demonstrates problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to remove blockers, identify issues, analyse situations and define effective solutions to drive successful outcomes
