Your day will involve

As an OSHC Engagement Educator, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing activities that foster the development of life skills while igniting a sense of excitement and curiosity. Here’s a glimpse into what your day might involve:

  • Interacting and supervising with young people
  • Facilitating Life Skills Development
  • Snack and Mealtimes
  • Planning activities
  • Building relationships

What are we looking for

  • Experience supervising and/or interacting with children
  • Working with children check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR (HLTAID004 / HLTA012)
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • Team player, contributing and upholding organisational values
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks to get things done efficiently

Bonus Skills (Desirable but Not Essential)

  • Completed or working towards a qualification in a relevant field (Childcare, Sport & Recreation, Youth Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Community Services, Health)
  • Current LR Driver License (or willing to obtain)
  • Child Protection Certificate - Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain)

Commencing hourly rate: $30.00 - $34.72 + $10 split shift allowance + 11.5% superannuation.

As part of the recruitment process, we will be holding a Group Assessment centre on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 and Thursday, 29 May 2025. Successful applicants will be asked to attend either an afternoon session commencing at 2.30pm.
