About the Position The Event Attendant provides customer service and operational support for campus-wide events, including Athletic events, Performing Arts events, Cultural events and rentals. The Event Attendant also assists with larger events, festivals and tournaments held on Western's campus.

The primary duties of this position are to provide general logistical support and assistance for campus events. This position works closely with other Event Operations Assistants for set-up and tear-down, assists with patron safety, event promotions, addressing the public, and provides general event operational needs.

Hours are typically during event times - afternoons, evenings and weekends with occasional daytime hours, depending on event schedules. Shifts usually begin 1.5 hours prior to event start time and end 1-2 hours after the event has started.

Temporary Event Operations Staff represent Western to our patrons and campus visitors. Excellent customer service is essential to perform job functions.

Salary  $22.21/hr
Bargaining Unit Temporary This position is part of bargaining unit A and is covered by the Washington Federation of State Employees at 350 hours worked.
