  • Office location – Parramatta, other locations negotiable
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $125,487 to $138,386 + Super

 

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer to join Biodiversity, Conservation and Science.

In this role you will lead and contribute expertise to inform and support the delivery of Environmental Water Programs. This includes activities such as managing place-based floodplain projects, developing engagement strategies and strategic partnerships, providing expert advice and undertaking complex technical analyses to ensure key objectives are achieved.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in a senior role, assisting in the successful delivery of program objectives.
  • Knowledge and experience in the delivery of large-scale biodiversity related projects, including planning, delivery and engagement oversight.
  • Experience in land manager/owner/stakeholder engagement to facilitate environmental program delivery.
