An opportunity exists for a 10-month secondment to the role of Strategic Communications Advisor in the Communications & Engagement Implementation Team, Office of the Secretary.
The Implementation team is responsible for leading the implementation of the proposed hybrid operating model for the Communications, Media, Marketing and Engagement (CMME) functions within DCCEEW as per recommendations of CMME Review. This also includes the development and implementation of a of a visible and robust strategy that is fit-for-purpose to support and contribute to delivering DCCEEW Strategic Plan, and maximises efficiency, cost effectiveness, and performance.
The Strategic Communications Advisor is responsible for the development, design and delivery of employee communications to drive engagement, change and inform about organisational developments. They will also provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on the effective use of internal communication channels and implement internal engagement initiatives to support DCCEEW’s strategy, policy and planning programs.
