The role

Join our dynamic team at the Bradfield Development Authority as the Manager Energy Infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery of sustainable energy services and cutting-edge developments in the new Bradfield City Centre and Aerotropolis. You will coordinate the delivery of infrastructure, oversee project management activities, and assist with the identification and implementation of energy initiatives. Your efforts will enable the delivery of innovative solutions to customers and residents, ensuring the Bradfield City Centre and Aerotropolis remain at the forefront of sustainable energy advancements

 

As the Manager Energy Infrastructure, you will manage the development and delivery of energy projects involving electric vehicle charging, solar, battery, net zero initiatives, and smart energy solutions. You will be responsible for project assessment and development processes, including evaluating options, facilitating workshops, drafting documentation and reports, and designing and delivering market sounding processes. Additionally, you will support the Digital & Energy Infrastructure team in implementing projects based on commercial and utility strategies, manage services and contracts resulting from procurement activities, and undertake administrative and project tasks to support the team. Your role will also involve preparing communication materials, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the program.

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven ability to identify commercial drivers and shape market engagement processes in a complex and competitive environment.
  • Strong skills in managing complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving multiple project objectives within limited resources and tight deadlines.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or relevant professional experience and training.
  • Extensive experience managing and implementing projects.
