Call for Expressions of Interest – EO12 Senior Team Leader, Stewardship Support Program (Jan-June 2025)

 

The Credits Supply Branch – Stewardship Support Program team are seeking expressions of interest to fill our Senior Team Leader (EO12) role.  We are a close knit team supporting landholders to supply credits for the BOS by preparing feasibility assessments and Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment Reports (BSSARs).  The Senior Team Leader works closely with landholders, engages consulting ecologists, and manages an internal team of ecologists and specialists to deleiver a program of BSSARs. Timeframe: 6th January - 30th June 2025 (6 months). 

 

  • Temporary (30 June 2025)  full-time opportunity
  • Office location – Parramatta or regional location
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $142,529 to $156,425 + Super

 

About You

Key knowledge and experience:

  • Superior knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for the successful delivery of a range of biodiversity conservation programs.
  • High level experience in developing, implementing and monitoring strategic and operational plans for the delivery of complex programs, with a demonstrated track record of providing direction and achieving results through multidisciplinary teams.

Essential requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in environmental science or equivalent field
  • A current Class C Driver’s License
  • Willing and able to assist with ecological fieldwork which involves travel.
  • Knowledge and experience in application of the Biodiversity Assessment Method
  • Experience in ecological restoration and management, including preparation and costing of restoration management plans.
  • Biodiversity Assessment Method accreditation would be beneficial.
