  • Temporary full-time opportunity up to 31 December 2026 with the possibility for extension, 35 hrs/week
  • Office based in Parramatta; flexible working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $145,378 to $168,130 + superannuation + leave loading

 

Join our growing IT team in this newly created opportunity. Oversee end-to-end service delivery from internal and external providers to meet the Department’s needs. Manage operational engagements, transition new or modified services, and ensure all products and services meet requirements.

 

About the role:

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively engaging with external vendors, including the Department of Planning, Housing and Industry (DPHI) Shared IT Services Provider, to resolve service delivery issues, problems, and unsatisfactory performance.
  • Managing, monitoring, and measuring the Service Partnership Agreement (SPA) for IT services delivered by the DPHI IT Shared Services Provider
  • Implementing and managing clear escalation paths for discussing and resolving issues for services provided by internal and external service providers
  • Monthly reporting of Service Key performance indicators, service volumes and service costs
  • Strategic and Operational vendor management including ICT procurement, contract management and financial reporting
  • Developing and implementing Service Management processes for services delivered by internal and external vendors

 

About you

You’re a proactive and solutions-focused IT professional with a strong background in service delivery and vendor management. With experience working across shared services environments, you thrive on building strong relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure high-performing IT services. You're confident managing Service Partnership Agreements, driving accountability through KPIs, reporting, and escalation processes, and ensuring seamless service operations. Your expertise spans IT procurement, contract management, and financial oversight, and you're passionate about embedding effective Service Management frameworks that enhance performance, transparency, and value for the organisation.
