About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Assistant Project Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the historic heritage and visitor experiences at Hill End HS.
The Assistant Project Officer supports the Senior Project Officer and Historic Site manager to deliver heritage building conservation works and maintenance and upgrades to visitor and operational infrastructure. The role manages contracts and contractors, provides contract management support, and liaises with residential and commercial tenants and park visitors.
This role undertakes inspections of short stay accommodation to identify and resolve issues eg cleaning contract management, plumbing/electrical/fire safety compliance and issues resolution.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to provide high quality customer service
- Experience in development and delivery of programs and projects.
- Understanding of contemporary project management principles and practices.
