The role
As a Payroll Administrator, your role is to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with policies, awards, and legislation. You’ll handle routine payroll processing, respond to employee inquiries, and support service requests, all while keeping employee records up to date. Your day-to-day work will contribute to the smooth operation of payroll services, ensuring entitlements are correctly recorded and payments are processed efficiently.
The challenge lies in managing high-volume workloads while delivering essential payroll services with accuracy and efficiency. You'll need to navigate multiple customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex matters when necessary. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to best practices, you’ll play a crucial role in improving processes, supporting employees, and keeping payroll operations running seamlessly.

What you will bring to the role

Key knowledge and experience (desired but not essential)

Understanding of records management principles and compliance requirements, ensuring payroll data is stored securely and maintained in line with regulatory standards.

Proficiency in CM10 (Content Manager) for accurate record-keeping, retrieval, and management of payroll-related documents

Familiarity with confidentiality protocols in managing sensitive employee information within the records system.

Experience in tracking payroll transactions and changes while maintaining proper documentation for compliance and reporting
