At the heart of the New South Wales (NSW) planning system, the Planning Group takes centre stage. Driven by the NSW Government’s unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue, we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The Planning Land Use Strategy, Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) team are the driving force behind the Department's strategic planning, policy, rezoning, and infrastructure projects, all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.
The role
The Infrastructure Planning Officer supports the Program Manager by taking responsibility for allocated tasks and activities associated with the design, implementation, and administration of systems, and tools needed to monitor and report on the operation of programs including the administration of the Housing Productivity Contribution and State Infrastructure Contribution.
The role also contributes to the design and administration of systems and processes to collect, assure, and manage data on the operation of the programs and you will apply and analyse program data to monitor and audit the implementation and operation of the HPC system in consultation with stakeholders to assist in the ongoing development and implementation of digital dashboards and related tools that provide decision-makers and key stakeholders with critical information and insights.
About you
You will have the ability to build and apply the principles of qualitative and quantitative analysis to explain complex issues clearly, problem solve & develop solution options and succinctly communicate research and analysis to a range of audiences to deliver high quality results within agreed timeframes.
