The Legal Operations team within DPHI Legal is seeking expressions of interest for a six-month opportunity to act in the role of Administration Officer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and coordination skills while supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of a fast-paced legal team.

 

As the Administration Officer, you will contribute to a range of tasks including managing enquiries, preparing correspondence and reports, assisting with financial processes, onboarding, and supporting small projects and system improvements. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative services that enable the Legal team to provide timely, effective support across the department.

 

This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their public sector experience in a collaborative, professional environment, while gaining exposure to legal operations, administrative systems, and business improvement initiatives.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver accurate work in a high-volume environment.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, including preparing correspondence and reports.
  • Experience providing administrative support, ideally in a team-based or professional services environment.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach, with the ability to respond to enquiries and manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence in using business systems and technology to support tasks such as finance, reporting, and records management.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to continuous improvement of processes.
  • A commitment to learning, taking initiative, and supporting the work of the broader team.
