About the role
The Range Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all range facilities and associated infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the safety, comfort, and well-being of all venue clients. This position is responsible for the effective supervision of staff and works closely with management to uphold the venue’s status as an elite sporting facility. A key focus of the role is ensuring that daily range operations are fully compliant with the NSW Firearms Registry’s Shooting Range Approval requirements.
What you will bring to the role
- Ensure operational compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, covering facility setup, firearm movements, client attendance, fee collection, and targetry equipment use.
- Supervise onsite personnel, including range officers and contractors, to maintain performance standards and enforce emergency management protocols.
- Manage firearms and ammunition logistics, ensuring adequate supply levels and proper maintenance.
- Oversee range activities, including training, supervision, operational procedures, maintenance inspections, and technical improvements.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as required
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
- Current Firearms Licence (Class A, B and H)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance.
