The role

As a Project Officer in Digital and Energy Infrastructure, you’ll be at the centre of activities—providing support across the full project lifecycle to help deliver critical infrastructure for Bradfield City Centre.  Use your project management skills to support commercial transactions as they relate to digital and energy infrastructure and the release of land for commercial development in the first new city to be built in Australia in 100 years. You’ll work with stakeholders from across the organisation to make sure everything runs smoothly, from scoping and design to handover and operational readiness.

It’s a fast-paced role where you’ll juggle competing priorities, navigate complex interdependencies, and help steer procurement and stakeholder engagement. Whether it’s updating Gantt charts, coordinating submissions, or keeping project documentation sharp, you’ll be the go-to for keeping things on track and making sure the team hits its goals.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in program and project management and implementation
  • Agile and adaptable mindset with comfort in an outcomes driven, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint and MS Suite is essential, and skills in (MS) Project highly regarded.
  • Experience in budget management, data evaluation and reporting aligning to business objectives and milestones
  • Background working on public sector infrastructure projects positively regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members. 
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts and support colleagues in achieving objectives.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience and training

We work with all levels of government, industry, and the community to realise the once-in-a-generation opportunities the new 24/7 Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport and the surrounding Western Sydney Aerotropolis precinct.
