The role
As Manager, Communications and Engagement for Bradfield City Centre, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how the Bradfield Development Authority connects with government, industry, and the community. The focus of the role is designing and delivering communications and engagement campaigns and strategies that make sure everyone’s voice is heard and that key stakeholders are kept in the loop as the city centre comes to life.
You’ll turn complex ideas into clear, simple messages in a fast-paced environment. Whether it’s creating engaging communication plans for announcements, running consultation programs, or helping senior leaders manage risks, you’ll be the go-to for making sure the right information gets to the right people, at the right time.
A current focus of this role is supporting the Go-to-Market campaign and communications activities for launch in 2026. This is a big opportunity to make your mark and support the delivery of a city shaping program.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience working in communications or engagement roles or similar across government, city planning or on other infrastructure projects or developments would be an advantage.
- Experience delivering advertising campaigns and working with agencies would be an advantage.
- Experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders and providing advice to senior management.
- Understanding of relevant NSW planning requirements or the ability to quickly get up to speed.
- Experience and ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- An excellent communicator who can turn complex information into accessible and engaging formats.
What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent experience in leading the delivery of project communications and engagement.
- Capacity to travel to Bradfield City, and work outside of core business hours in the evening and on weekends when needed.
