  • Salary ranges from $ 112,444.00 to $ 126,861.00 + super

 

The Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative is seeking to appoint a Project Officer to join a dynamic team supporting a sustainable transition of NSW to a net-zero emissions economy.

 

The NSW Government has committed $480 million to support and partner with industry to reduce emissions, grow our skilled workforce and help businesses prosper. Our team designs, launches and delivers flagship grants programs targeting the development of innovative clean technologies, and the manufacture of low carbon products and components of renewable energy.  

 

About You

 

You are a driven and passionate professional with 3 years’ experience delivering environmental sustainability outcomes through technical engineering, scientific expertise, or commercial business investment services. Your knowledge spans strategic planning, feasibility assessments, engineering design, procurement, and contract negotiations for major capital investments. Additionally, you bring a deep understanding of the NSW Government’s renewable energy and net-zero commitments, as well as emerging technologies required to transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future. Your expertise in providing environmental, technical, and economic advisory services to industry is complemented by your proven ability to manage projects within scope, time, and budget while navigating competing demands.

 

With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you excel at fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Your proactive approach to professional development ensures you remain at the forefront of industry trends, while your eagerness, organisation, and efficiency drive successful project delivery. Agile and flexible, you thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at engaging stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle, employing your negotiation skills and issue management expertise to secure optimal outcomes. Above all, you are committed to making a tangible impact by supporting strategic projects and initiatives that accelerate the transition to net-zero emissions.
