Our People & Culture team are committed to fostering a culture of safety and well-being for our employees. As part of our ongoing efforts to support workplace health and reduce the impact of injuries, we are seeking an experienced Senior Injury Management Advisor to join our dynamic team.

You will manage the end-to-end injury management and workers compensation function, as well as manage complex claims, providing occupational health strategies and delivering expert advice to ensure a healthy workforce. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience in injury management, rehabilitation, or workers’ compensation. You will also have a comprehensive knowledge of injury management practices, relevant legislation, and return-to-work processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and complex situations. This includes experience in managing stakeholder relationships, as well as analytical skills to interpret injury data and develop actionable insights.

 

Essential Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualifications as an allied health professional or in a relevant health discipline such as behavioural and social sciences, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation counselling, exercise physiology or in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • RTW Coordinator Accreditation or equivalent and extensive knowledge of workers compensation legislation
