- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $125,693 to $138,510 + super
Water Group within the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer, Statutory Compliance to support our Governance team in delivering compliance and governance initiatives.
About The Role
In this role, you will develop and implement compliance frameworks and processes to enable the Water Group to manage its statutory obligations and deliver improved governance. You will also be able to put forward future focussed and innovative initiatives that add value to the Water Group across a range of complex policy, planning, operational and project matters. The role will monitor, analyse and report on the efficiency and outcome of frameworks and will implement a continuous process for review and improvement along with improving capability uplift for compliance and governance across the Water Group.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will need to:
- Be flexible, show initiative and respond quickly when situations change.
- Have a strong track record of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders demonstrating expertise in planning, project management and analysis.
- Balance competing demands, be proactive in identifying issues and find appropriate well considered solutions.
- Have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience in compliance and governance frameworks and processes.
