The role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Team Lead to join and oversee our 2nd level technical support operations for the department.
As the Technical Support Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring smooth operations across our computer network, providing both onsite and remote support to users spread across multiple locations and platforms. From troubleshooting technical issues to handling escalated requests from customers, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our computer system’s efficiency and reliability.
As the leader of a team of dedicated technical specialists, you will lead by example, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure they can always apply up-to-date solutions and the delivery of exceptional services and support.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven experience in delivering and supporting IT services across a variety of platforms and technologies.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of effectively managing technical teams.
- Proficient in supporting business applications including Office 365, VoIP, MS Teams, and a wide range of ICT hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under pressure, particularly for senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of ITIL methodologies and their practical application in service delivery environments.
- Skilled in managing competing priorities, projects, and escalations in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills aligned with strategic organisational objectives.
- A customer-centric approach with a proven ability to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant experience or tertiary qualification in IT related field and/or recognised industry certifications
