Join the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) as a DevOps Support Officer, where you will play a key role in supporting our hybrid cloud infrastructure and IT operations. You will contribute to the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of geographically dispersed systems, assist with proactive upgrades, and deploy code-driven cloud infrastructure. Your work will support both business-as-usual (BAU) activities and strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless service delivery across the organisation.

 

This role offers a dynamic environment with diverse challenges where you’ll provide services to multiple business areas with competing demands, navigate the complexities of a public sector organisation, and build strong relationships across the DPHI Cluster. This is a wonderful opportunity for you if you have experience in cloud hosting, security, or software engineering, or enjoy solving problems in a collaborative setting.

What you will bring to the role

  • Proficient in monitoring infrastructure performance and ensuring service delivery standards are met consistently.
  • Experienced in conducting system tests and contributing to the resolution of technical issues efficiently

 

Key knowledge and experience

  • Key knowledge and experience in relevant hosting technologies that includes VMware, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience working in technical ICT environments with a focus on cloud hosting, security, and/or software engineering preferable
