The role
Are you ready to help shape the future of tourism at some of Australia’s most iconic destinations? As the Tourism Lead at the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, you’ll drive the development and management of tourism partnerships, build relationships with operators and agencies, and help deliver innovative programs that attract new audiences. You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about connecting people with nature, science, and culture—across the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.

This role is perfect for someone who understands both the supply and demand sides of tourism, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is excited to bring new  visitors into the Gardens. You’ll manage multiple projects, contribute to sales and marketing strategies, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure every initiative delivers value and impact.

This hybrid role offers flexibility while ensuring strong on-site collaboration. You'll work at least 5 days per fortnight in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney office—with a monthly visit to our Mount Annan and Mount Tomah sites.
