Job Description

• Assist in the custody operation including settlement and clearing, corporate action, FX , cash management and reporting.
• Ensure that all services delivered are complying with current legislative and regulatory requirements and the Bank’s operational risk guidelines.
• Evaluate and propose solutions  on client requirements from operation and system perspectives.
• Enable operational changes and system enhancements to meet with the changing need of the business.
• Assist the Team Management to address the market's needs on ongoing basis, and provide solution according to the market demand.
• Plan and execute UAT tests and handle other ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirement

• 1 year of relevant experience in custody business.
• General understanding and knowledge about various markets and investment instruments (eg. Equities, fixed incomes etc. ) as well as their related operating modes, clearing and settlement procedures, laws and regulations, commonly-used SWIFT formats etc.
• Familiar with different local market requirements and operating requirements etc.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and co-ordination skills to work with the team.
• Independent in thinking, arranging work and dealing with business partners or service providers; flexible and client-oriented in rendering client-fronting services.
• Meticulous with details; diligent and efficient in follow-through.
• Able to work effectively under pressure arisen from workload and time constraints.
• Sensitive to international market developments and industry initiatives.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.  
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
