- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the hotel facilities, engineering plants, machinery and equipment to excellent standard of quality
- Contribute to guest satisfaction standards by ensuring that all requests for facilities management services are rapidly addressed and ensure the safety and comfort of guests and requests for services are handled in a professional manner
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs and enhancement projects to improve operation effectiveness and efficiency
- Establish policies and standard operating procedures in relation to Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security, as outlined in the hotel’s manual and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Closely communicate with the Building Management on operations, renovation and engineering projects
- Formulate strategic plan for sustainability and develop energy conservation programs
- Be responsible for overseeing and championing the hotel sustainability initiatives
- Be responsible for preparing budget and capital expenditure, cost control of maintenance and engineering projects
- Lead and manage team performance by providing supervision, career development and succession planning
