Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the Hippodrome Sportsbook
  • Report to and liaise with Cashdesk Management routinely to ensure the smooth running of the Sportsbook.
  • Provide insights and reports on the Sportsbook performance and customer activity to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing betting activities.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to customers regarding betting options and strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline operations.

Required attributes

  • 3+ years of experience in a sports betting or gambling-related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of betting principles, sports markets, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Experience with betting software and platforms.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of various sporting events and betting markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing betting operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English language and good IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
  • Ability to train staff to a high standard.
  • Eighteen years or over
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and sports betting software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Experience with Arkle and Artemis systems to manage customer interactions and promotions.
