Band 6 – Starting from $97,222.13 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full-time 38 hours per week only)

About the Role

Working closely with the ECM Product Owner (PO), the ECM Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of Council’s new Enterprise Content Management system. The role provides specialist expertise in information management, records governance, business processes, and ECM functionality to support solution configuration, testing, data migration, business readiness, and user training.

Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners, the ECM SME will help ensure that the solution meets operational and compliance requirements, supports seamless integration with the broader ERP platform, and enables a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations following go-live

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a candidate with deep expertise within the Technology One CiA Enterprise Content Manager (ECM) business domain, Records and Information Management expertise, familiarity with ERP systems and configuration, and experience in stakeholder engagement and testing methodologies (SIT/UAT) to help deliver outcomes in the ERP Project Team within the Digital & Technology Branch, delivering Council's Technology One SaaS implementation program. This may include solution design and configuration, system and user acceptance testing, data migration support, stakeholder engagement, and change management and training activities.


You will have: 
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS).

  • Demonstrated experience with TechnologyOne ECM and CiA, including document registration, metadata management, workflow configuration, security permissions, retention and disposal schedules, and integration with ERP modules.

  • Working knowledge of records management legislation, Public Records Office Victoria (PROV) standards, information governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience configuring and validating business processes within a SaaS environment and translating business requirements into system solutions.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with business units, project teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
