The position serves as a key liaison between university departments, external contractors, and architects to deliver projects on time and within budget. Also, the manager assists in long-range utility planning, developing operating budgets, and implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives. The position manages the full life cycle of major capital projects, including coordinating all phases of project delivery, programming, design, construction administration, and close-out. This position reports to the Director of Capital Planning and facilitates communication and collaboration among university departments, external consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
