Your new role 

Working as part of our HR Connect Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Uniting's diverse workforce with HR processes relating to each stage of the employment lifecycle.

You will act as the first point of contact for queries relating to HR policies, procedures and processes, T&Cs of employment, as well as HR systems support. Working closely with a designated portfolio of stakeholders, you will provide expert guidance and assist people leaders through recruitment, onboarding and employment variation processes.

Your skills and experience 

You will bring with you: 

  • A tertiary qualification in human resources or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience working as a HR Advisor (or similar generalist role) in a large, complex organisation 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • A strong customer service focus with the ability to engage and build rapport with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant modern awards and enterprise agreements – experience with the SCHADS Award 2010 would be advantageous
  • Experience in the use of HR systems or ability to easily adapt – experience with PageUp, PayGlobal or Dayforce is desirable
