Your new role

As the ICT Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support for AV systems and offering second-level helpdesk support for IT issues. This support will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to AV hardware and software, as well as more complex IT problems escalated from the first-level helpdesk.

You will be required to visit Uniting worksites for a minimum of 3 days per week. This will include travel to various sites across Victoria and Tasmania and will include overnight stays within regional areas.

Your skills and experience
  • Diploma or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Office 365 administration and support.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AV equipment and systems, with a willingness to learn and expand knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
