About the Team

The Volunteer Program team’s mission is to support meaningful and impactful volunteering at Uniting and provide operational advice to maintain a purposeful, safe, and capable volunteer workforce.

Your new role

As a Volunteer Systems Coordinator you will provide advice and support to local Uniting volunteer programs, to further the strategic aims of uplifting volunteer experience, building volunteer leadership, focusing on safety and systems, and embedding data-driven decision making for volunteer engagement.

You will provide subject matter expertise of contemporary volunteer engagement principles and support and advise volunteer leaders through training, coaching, and supporting programs to develop capability.

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

  • Experience working with Better Impact software is essential
  • Well-developed liaison and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people in various situations.
  • Aptitude to work well both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • An understanding of contemporary volunteering principles and engagement practices
