- Manage intake and provide admin support for NEFCP, assisting clients and working both independently and as part of a team.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for consumers accessing Financial Counselling services through the North East Financial Counselling Program (NEFCP). As the first point of contact, you’ll ensure a professional and supportive experience while helping connect clients to the right services.
You will also provide essential administrative support to the financial counselling team. To succeed, you’ll need to work well independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with the NEFCP team and the Team Leader – Tenancy & Financial Support.

Your skills and experience
- Diploma of Community Service (desirable) or relevant experience
- Currently studying Diploma of Financial Counselling (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in administrative and or intake roles (desirable)
- Experience in working with Financial Counselling team/organisation and/or clients (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision
- Ability to problem solve and effectively manage feedback
