Citywide are recruiting for Civil Maintenance Team Members to join the team working on our Bayside City Council contract. This role would suit someone with previous civil maintenance/general labouring experience or someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking for a career change. Full training is provided.

• Monday to Friday – 6.30am to 2.36pm
• Cheltenham Depot

Duties and responsibilities include but are but are not limited to:

• Perform civil maintenance works such as bluestone works, footpath reconstruction and line marking etc.
• Drainage inspections, assessing pit and pipe conditions
• Operate and maintain various vehicles and equipment
• Safely operate tools such as demo saws, jack hammers, drills, circular saws and other hand and power tools
• Provide effective pedestrian and traffic control at all times
• Ensure the highest standards of safety are applied

Skills and experience required:

• Traffic Management tickets
• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
• HR or MR Licence (Desirable)
• White Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Police Check and Working With Children Check
