Future Student Recruitment plays a key role in enhancing marketing and recruitment initiatives, ensuring UNSW remains the leading choice for local students in NSW and the top destination nationally for international students.
The Student Recruitment Administrator (Undergraduate) supports the planning and delivery of a range of outreach activities, including school visits, careers markets, expos, agent visits, and on-campus events that engage future students, schools, career advisers, and other key stakeholders.
This position reports to the Undergraduate Student Recruitment Manager and does not have any direct reports.
This role requires the successful candidate to obtain a Working with Children Check, hold a Current NSW Driving license and flexibility to attend various recruitment events and activities.
Specific accountabilities for this role include:
- Participate fully with the Future Students onshore partnerships team, contributing to creating a respected and valued service. Deliver a highly customer-focussed service and demonstrate commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Assist the Undergraduate Student Recruitment Manager to deliver the outreach and prospective student event activity of the University.
- Independently coordinate travel, logistics, and administration of school visits, career markets and expos (including liaising with university suppliers, schools and student ambassadors).
- Ensure all outreach activity details are concisely document and scheduled and that participating stakeholders are adequately briefed.
About You:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Ability to build, manage and sustain relationships with key stakeholders (internal clients, suppliers, students and faculties).
- Demonstrated organisational skills with proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present and format information in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases (eg. CRM).
- Prior experience assisting with domestic student recruitment campaigns, programs and initiatives is highly desirable.
