An amazing opportunity for someone with python and sql experience the Database Assistant role encompasses database entry, raw data reporting, documentation, and CRM user support. The role is responsible for providing assistance to the division through the use of the Raiser’s Edge Customer Relationship Management database.
This role will:
• Support the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure all information contained in the Division of External Engagement CRM is accurate, consistent and up to date.
• Provide high levels of customer service to staff by generating CRM queries, data import, exports and reports as required.
• Support CRM end users through the database team’s support ticketing system, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for internal teams' use and how-to guides and manuals.
• Assist with data entry for a variety of projects and tasks.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and processes within the Division.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment, applying knowledge of relevant procedures and policies.
• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience working with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM databases.
• Experience with Python and SQL will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience working in a support services team.
• Demonstrated experience exercising initiative to bring about an understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
