Why Your Role Matters:

City Futures Research Centre was established in 2005 to undertake research aiming to develop a better understanding of our cities, their people, the policies that manage their growth, the issues they face and the impact they can have on our environment and economy. The Centre is hosted by the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture and is based at the University of New South Wales, Kensington campus. The Administrator will be providing vital high-level administration support and assistance to the Centre Director, Centre research team and the overall operations in the Centre.

 

Who You Are:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • Advanced numeracy skills.
