For this role you must have a thorough understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2, particularly with respect to the Student Lifecycle, Identity related processes, and Person data management. You must have exposure to or knowledge of direct database, file, and web service-based integration patterns. Specific experience with integrating PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 and Identity Management systems is a plus. Two roles, day rate contracts.

The primary purpose of the Senior PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Functional Consultant is to provide functional support to all phases of the IGA program. This role exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy to meet given objectives and processes and works within a clear framework of accountability.

Specific accountabilities for this role include:

• Provide functional support to all phases of the IGA Program
• Perform a lead role working collaboratively with the project managers, vendors, and business users, including impact assessments, risk analysis, testing and co-ordinating with various stakeholders to design and test solutions that ensure successful business outcomes.  
• Support Architects, Developers, and other Technical Teams
• Develop effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that meet project needs.
• Prepare for and assist with support activities immediately after project go-live
• Analyse, resolve and test defects
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support to the SiMs (Student Information Management System) and other student systems, including but not limited to expert level advice and guidance to users on system issues, resolving the more complex enquiries and ensuring satisfaction with UNSW IT services.  
• Develop knowledge of UNSW business systems and their interrelationships with other core university systems.

• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health & safety of yourself or others.

 Who you are:

• 7+ years’ experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions in a functional capacity
• Prior experience with the design and test of custom solutions within PeopleSoft
• Prior experience integrating PeopleSoft Campus Solutions with Identity Management systems and other university enterprise systems that support the identity management lifecycle
• Prior experience with prep and execution of transition of projects to BAU
• Prior experience with prep and execution of heightened support of products immediately after their release
• Prior experience engaging across functional, technical, SMEs and senior management
• Prior experience in Higher Education, preferably with UNSW
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Able to develop effective relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and problem solving with the ability to resolve and address issues as they arise.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
