JOB SUMMARY
Maintains Universal Creative (UC) facility assets, including owned and leased work locations, furniture, fixtures and equipment in these locations and vehicles. Performs maintenance of Universal Creative properties and completes required work orders. Fields daily service calls from the various Creative Project teams and departments. Plans and Schedules necessary Preventative Maintenance and inspections to keep UC properties in compliance with leases and EHS.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procure products and services needed via the various UC systems. This includes the collection of necessary data (scopes of work, a vendor’s quote and a schedule of events), entry of this data into the appropriate UC system, follow-up to ensure that contractual document is received by the vendor, payment to the vendor and contract closeout or product receipt.
- Coordinate and schedule various work to be completed by outside vendors as necessary. Makes infield decisions as appropriate and provide work direction to contracted labor to ensure work is completed to UC standards.
- Collect and update all data related to the Creative locations, leased items and furniture, fixtures and equipment used by Creative Teams (Lease information, CAD files, Project documents, Furniture Items, etc.) and store, organize and update the information in the appropriate Facilities SharePoint site.
- Perform repairs such as painting, patching, changing fixtures, etc. and enhancements in the UC facilities as needed to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. Receive, manage and complete work order requests; ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform routine inspections of Creative properties, using the building maintenance checklist to note any deficiencies. Track and report all issues in appropriate systems.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Person should be very organized, able to multitask and follow instructions well, read floor plans and be computer literate. Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office products Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Photo Shop. Adobe Cloud and AutoCAD.
- Experience in building maintenance i.e. corporate office building or retail
- Experience in light painting, plumbing and electrical work
- Able to inspect and measure quality of workmanship to ensure Universal Creative standards are maintained
- Construction plan & specification reading skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. if needed
- Valid FL Driver’s License is required
EDUCATION
High school degree or GED required. Associate degree or Technical school preferred.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years’ experience in Facilities, Construction or Project Management field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
