JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervision of the Resort Yacht transportation service within Parking & Transportation. Uses analytical & leadership skills to ensure that departmental standards are met for efficiency, throughput, Guest satisfaction, Team Member satisfaction, and financial goals while maintaining the highest safety standards. Works with Resort hotel partners to ensure service standards are maintained.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and oversees the daily operation to ensure proper staffing, capacity, efficiencies, crowd control and guest service standards are being met. Responds to guest, Team Member, and operational issues. Communicates with key partners and is the first responder to operational and guest situations. Maintains a field presence that drives performance metrics.
- Provides feedback, coaching, and development to Team Captains and attendants. Verifies that each Team Member is maintaining Universal Orlando (UO) service standards by greeting, interacting, and assisting Guests. Ensures that Team Member Satisfaction and Guest Satisfaction initiatives are in place to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall satisfaction for both Guests and Team Members.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and facility maintenance standards along the waterway, docks, and Yachts to ensure the locations are show ready for Guests. Maintains effective relationships with UO interdepartmental partners, including Resort hotel partners, to achieve these goals. Conducts regular area walks with partners to drive solutions for known concerns.
- Analyzes various reports, including Guest comments, KPI data, and incident reports. Reacts to this information and implements programs to improve operational effectiveness. Manages labor budgets for assigned venue. Mitigates overtime by adjusting staffing to daily attendance levels.
- Ensures the safety of Guests and Team Members by reviewing and revising safety procedures, responding to potentially unsafe conditions. Creates standard operating procedures to document safe operating procedures and uses counseling forms to correct Team Member actions in accordance with UO policy.
- Maintains positive working relationships with Resort Hotel partners to ensure a seamless experience for Resort Hotel Guests. Collaborates with partners to continuously seek ways to enhance the Guest experience.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED required.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ year of supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to complete the Basic Water Safety class, which consists of swimming (without touching the sides of the pool) and treading water.
- Required to pass a DOT Coast Guard Physical, as well as random drug testing.
