JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will support a wider range of Universal Creative Communications projects from social media to writing, video editing and graphic design. The intern will research innovative approaches and campaigns to bring fresh new ideas to the team. They will also support upcoming communication events (State of Creative, Town Halls, Creative Quarterly) from planning to execution. They will receive a short-term Universal Creative Team Member experience in a professional environment that supports their career ambition.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Crafts Stories: Writes engaging stories that highlight UC culture, showcase Team Members, and cover events.
- Contributes to Client Requests: Assists with graphic design, email campaigns, and the development of communication plans.
- Supports Social Media: Aids in the ideation, planning, and execution of social media posts.
- Prepares Metric Reports: Compiles and presents regular metric reports for the UC Communications team.
- Assists Newsletter Development: Contributes to the creation and publication of bi-weekly UC newsletters.
- Organizes Team Assets: Maintains and organizes documents and assets in line with team processes.
- Event & Project Support: Provides support for events, project management tasks, and file organization.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
