JOB SUMMARY:
This internship will require writing technical documentation and training deliverables. Intern will learn to work with technical subject matter experts to obtain content, conduct document reviews, and receive approvals. Intern will also experience the training design lifecycle, from content identification through piloting a course and gathering feedback.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in external technical specification updates and publishing.
- Creates training course PowerPoints and/or E-learning on a policy or technical subject.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: English, Technical Writing, Writing and Rhetoric, Instructional Design, or similar.
- Preferred coursework completed: English Composition course or similar, Technical Writing and/or Instructional Design course or similar.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Advanced MS Word experience preferred), Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SharePoint Administration, and/or Articulate Storyline preferred.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
