JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will play a key role in bringing new attraction concepts to life through 3D animation and modeling. They will support the pre-visualization process by creating detailed digital assets that help communicate the creative vision. Working closely with the attraction design team, they will contribute to ensuring the creative intent of each project is accurately represented and enhanced in the studio environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, creative setting, perfect for developing your skills in animation, modeling, and attraction design.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 3D models, rigs, and animates ride systems and mechanical show equipment from CAD drawings or clean up and optimize imported models.
- 3D models, textures, animates show scenes, also incorporating designs from various other designers.
- Outputs scene studies as animatics for creative and technical review.
- Iterates and develops ideas based on guidance and feedback from leadership and team members.
- Assists with iteration and development of future attractions currently in production utilizing 3D software.
- Participates in brainstorming meetings for new ride concepts and ideas.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.

- Preferred majors include: Computer Animation, Visual Effects

- 3d modeling
- Photorealistic Renders
- Animatics
- Vehicle Modeling
- Compositing in after effects

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
