JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will provide technical and logical support to ensure compliance with industry regulations and Universal’s standards across all major Ride and Show scopes. This includes reviewing engineering documentation such as drawings, operational theories, and hazard analyses for Ride and Show systems. The role involves collaboration & development of working relationships with internal partners across the project to develop new safety-related processes and procedures, as well as executing audits on system documentation and internal processes to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with Compliance Manager, Engineers, and Technical Managers to learn and understand audit requirements and inspections.
- Reviews and audits documentation provided by Vendors and 3rd Parties, ensuring they are complete and up to industry standards.
- Maintains progress reports for documentation completion, audit progress, and other related elements.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance is required.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
