JOB SUMMARY:
The Intern will support the Concept Design team by creating 2D sketches, storyboards, POV color illustrations, and, when possible, key art, bird’s-eye views, and marketing visuals to aid project development. Additionally, the intern will build 3D models to streamline the illustration process. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3DS Max, Rhino, or Maya is highly beneficial for this role.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates sketches and illustrations independently using a Cintiq, while receiving guidance and mentorship from the Art Director or senior Concept Designers.
- Develops visual assets to support multiple projects and contribute to the overall concept design team’s needs, requiring strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Participates in select project-related meetings to gain insight into broader project goals and parameters.
- Attends regular departmental meetings to deepen understanding of the concept design team’s workflow and collaborative processes.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Fine Art, Illustration, Entertainment Design, Product Design, Environment Design, Experience and Production Design.
- Proficient drawing and 2D illustration abilities.
- Strong color illustration skills.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with 3D block-out and rendering techniques.
- Strong work ethic with openness to constructive critique.
- Ability to quickly generate ideas through sketching, both 2D and 3D.
- Basic understanding of staging principles, including composition and guest sight-lines.
- Familiarity with general architectural concepts and guest-accessible features (e.g., doors, windows) and their contextual scale.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
