JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for Leading the overall direction of the Parking & Transportation Department. This includes running a successful daily operation, planning strategically and integrating across the organization to ensure exemplary service for both our Guests and Team Members, while meeting financial goals. Responsible for the development of the respective Managers and their teams. Senior Manager must participate in business reviews with Executive Leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the overall functions and success of the Parking & Transportation 24 hour daily operation.
- Plan and direct operation of department through subordinate supervision.
- Lead Department Managers/Assistant Managers to focus on exemplary Team Member and Guest experiences.
- Integrate across operations, events and other lines of business to ensure seamless execution of events
- Implement project management strategies to achieve project goals from design concept through installation in conjunction with the appropriate partners.
- Lead analyst to develop and share meaningful insight to support the Parking & Transportation operation.
- Build effective presentations for Executive Leadership
- Lead all functions of the Parking and Transportation Operations Center
- Leverage relationships with Team Members across Departments to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for the Parking & Transportation Department.
- Facilitate and communicate the execution of any operational changes.
- Provide Leadership, coaching and mentoring to Parking & Transportation Team Members, at all levels, through career development and performance management tools.
- Establish and maintain departmental practices that provide development for Parking & Transportation Team Members.
- Develop procedures for ensuring training methods and performance expectations are being monitored and correctly performed.
- Champion the promotion of Team Members (at all levels) as indicated by performance.
- Ensure proper recognition plans are in place and active.
- Provide direction to management team regarding appropriate progressive discipline to ensure consistency across department, collaborating with HR team when necessary for guidance.
- Develop and adhere to labor and non-labor budgets/capital budgets, while ensuring operational and financial goals are met.
- Assure purchase of required supplies/equipment within approved budget.
- Provide support and planning for the following year’s labor, non-labor, and capital budgets.
- Responsible for tracking and reconciliation.
- Responsible for proper staffing levels on a weekly and daily basis
- Responsible for administrative tasks including, but not limited to:
- Development of policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
- Reviewing all Management evaluations, counseling and termination reports, as needed.
- Ensuring all IDP’s are completed for Management and followed up on a regular basis.
- Daily inter-departmental correspondence
- Ensuring order requests and purchase requisitions are placed timely.
- Oversight of grooming and wardrobe guidelines.
- Responsible for department improvement in GSAT, TSAT, and Financial metrics. Develop action plans and results.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ Years of management experience is required.
- Experience working in management of a parking and transportation operation preferred.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Florida Driver’s License is required.
