JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining regulatory files both physically and electronically, and monitoring EHS equipment usage and either arrange maintenance or replacement as needed. Support the documentation of EHS ongoing procurement or service activities. Providing support on special projects and continuously reviewing the operation for efficiencies to increase team effectiveness.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accuracy for all EHS and UO document management systems to include hard copy files, digital files, and document retention in accordance with UO policy and regulatory document review.
  • Day to day data entry into EHS digital management systems to include OHM, Gensuite, JJ Keller, SiteHawk, etc.
  • Oversees EHS contracts and procurement systems to ensure they are kept current and communicated to management and finance for budgetary considerations
  • Responsible for monitoring data systems for accuracy to include application access, permission levels, data verification, and data entry.
  • Maintains EHS inventory to ensure inventory pars are kept current, and equipment logs and calibrations are maintained. Ensuring appropriate procurement processes are managed and provided to finance timely.
  • Monitors and reports EHS metrics and measurements and provides immediate feed back to management on deficiencies for corrective actions to be implemented.
  • Provides support to varioius EHS teams on special projects to include: coordinating project time-lines, status updates, cost estimates, and follow-up for level of completion.
  • Identifies and recommends new processes to streamline work and increase efficiencies between all EHS teams.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

Processing of EHS regulatory documents and data management systems. Provides key support to various EHS teams to ensure procedures remain consistent.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of departmental administration, and/or project management experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of EHS preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
